Man dies in Barking stabbing incident

A MAN in his 20s has died in a stabbing incident in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Barking.

Officers were called at around 1am on Wednesday, August 2, following reports of a man lying on the ground with stab wounds on Movers Lane.

Paramedics also attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries are underway to formally identify the deceased and inform his next of kin.

Two other victims aged in the late teens and early 20s also suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. They were found in a nearby area and and taken to separate hospitals.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed and will be investigating.

Officers await an update on their condition.

There have been no arrests at time of publication.
